Good Stuff is Happening

Every day I am hearing about all the good things that are happening that will support our work this summer. One of the team members from Borger, Texas (there are 6 from there) has secured enough support from the church where she grew up to build a house and may be able to get another church to build another one! The team from Tupelo, Mississippi built a storage building for their church and the elders are going to give the cost savings to benevolence in Honduras. The elders in Fairview Heights, Illinois (my home church) are going to have a special contribution on May 10th and then they have agreed to match the offering from the mission budget.
Please let all of us know what is happening in your group by posting it in the comments or sending me an email so that I can include it in the next newsletter.
Please remember to pray about our upcoming work.
Pray that we will be effective in the work that our God has planned for us. Pray that we will open our eyes to the needs of the people that we are going to serve. Pray that our lives will be changed and that we will be bold in taking the gospel to the people of Honduras and to the people in our own communities.
In Him,
Marc
